BENTONITE CLAY FACE MASK
BENTONITE CLAY FACE MASK
Your effective weapon against acne and blemish-prone skin
This powerfull mask will help you calm your skin using simple ingredients:
Bentonite clay helps gently draw mucus from your pores and additionally absorb excess oil. It also provides your skin with essential minerals.
Apple cider vinegar helps to balance the skin’s pH factor. In a healthy state, your skin’s pH is slightly acidic at a pH of approx 5.5. When the pH factor increases, it can impact the skin’s protective microbiome, thus affecting the balance of the bacteria living on the skin’s surface. Bacteria that negatively affect your skin thrive in a more neutral pH, icluding the bacteria that promote acne.
In fact, more and more studies show that a more neutral skin pH is associated with increased breakouts and acne.
Tea tree essential oil is one of the most well known natural acne remedies, and it has been around for centuries. It is extremely beneficial for acne-prone skin, as it possesses anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Are you fighting acne or irritated skin? Then make sure to include this great mask in your beauty routine!
How to prepare your bentonite clay face mask
TURMERIC FACE MASK
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon bentonite clay
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 drops tea tree essential oil
Mix all of the ingredients together into a consistent paste.
1. Mix all of the ingredients together with a wooden spoon (or plastic). Metal will migitate the effects of the bentonite clay, as it absorbs metals. Once you add the vineger, the compound may start to fizzle a little, which is fine.
2. Cleanse your face with Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Gently dry your skin, however, keep it moist.
3. Apply the mask to damp skin with clean fingers, and let sit for approx. 10 minutes or until your skin starts feeling tight.
4. Rinse off the mask with warm water and gently pat your skin dry
5. Apply Regenerating Night Cream.
