ANTIOXIDANT TURMERIC FACE MASK

A natural, easy to prepare face mask

Turmeric is known for its antioxidant properties, and has been used in skincare for centuries. This easy to prepare face mask protects your skin from free radical damage with just a few simple ingredients. Just as the potent antioxidant properties of turmeric benefit the body when taken internally, your skin benefits when you apply turmeric. Turmeric has a number of other benefits for the skin: it has been used in traditional medicine to lighten skin and eliminate dark spots, additionally, it is a great antibacterial agent. 

Your skin is constantly under free radical assault through UV rays and pollution. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and also help to keep skin clear by preventing the oxidation of skin sebum, which plays an important role in acne.

How to prepare your turmeric face mask

 

TURMERIC FACE MASK

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon unsweetened yogurt
1 tablespoon raw honey
½ teaspoon turmeric powder

1. Mix all of the ingredients together into a consistent paste.

2. Cleanse your face with Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Pat dry with towel, however keep your skin slightly damp.

3. Apply paste to damp skin and keep on for approx. 10 minutes (Avoid getting paste into your eyes!).

4. Thoroughly rinse off without soap.

5. Apply Regenerating Night Cream.

NOTE: Turmeric has coloring properties and may temporarily tint your skin with a yellow hue. For this reason, you should apply the mask at night before going bed.
